Ancient Lands of Egypt, Rome, Greece in a beautiful interactive encyclopaedia.

This was another one of those multimedia CD-ROMs that felt like a treasure trove of knowledge. Microsoft Ancient Lands let me explore history in a way that was interactive and engaging, diving into ancient civilizations like Egypt, Greece, and Mesopotamia.

The combination of artwork, historical facts, and interactive elements made it feel like a time machine on my computer. I probably didn’t grasp everything as a kid, but it sparked my love for mythology and ancient history.
