Before the internet gave me instant access to animal facts, there was Microsoft Dangerous Creatures. This wasn’t a game in the traditional sense, but I was obsessed with it.

It had incredible photos, videos, and narrated clips about every creepy, deadly, and fascinating animal imaginable. I spent hours clicking through the encyclopedia, learning about sharks, venomous snakes, and weird deep-sea creatures.

It felt like exploring a digital nature documentary—one of the coolest educational experiences from my childhood.
