Lost Vikings 2 (1997)

I loved this style of platformer and before seeing the Cave game, Lost Vikings was the only one I knew about.

Erik, Baleog, and Olaf’s time-traveling antics were super fun (and frustrating at times). The humor was sharper, the puzzles more intricate, and the levels more varied.

I remember playing co-op with friends, arguing over who messed up a jump or forgot to use the right ability. It was one of those rare sequels that truly improved on the original while keeping the same charm.
