Myst (1993)

The age of Myst

Myst was unlike anything I had played before. Instead of action or dialogue, it was just me, an empty world, and a series of cryptic puzzles. The eerie silence and beautiful pre-rendered landscapes made it feel mysterious and isolating, like stepping into a forgotten dream.

I remember the frustration of getting stuck, but also the immense satisfaction of finally solving a puzzle and uncovering another piece of the story. It wasn’t just a game—it was an experience.
